Issue:

Users reported that the large assembly hangs when creating or editing patterns with a Tube and Pipe content center part in Inventor.

Status:

This incident has been resolved in:

Inventor 2021.3.2 Update
Autodesk Inventor 2022

To install updates, open the Autodesk desktop app and click My Updates. To install a new version of your Autodesk software, open the Autodesk desktop app, sign in, and click My Products. To use a web browser to install updates or a new version, sign in to Autodesk Account. (Your access to new versions or updates depends on your Autodesk software entitlements.)

Workaround:

Use one of the following:
  • Turn off the Tube and Pipe add-in and then create the pattern.
  • Create subassembly with content center parts that should be used in the Pattern feature and then pattern the subassembly.
