Issue:

The Background Reactor is not available in the render option in Flame 2022.2.
The cache and export work but the Backburner Preference does not show the adapters. The issue only happens on workstations with a longer hostname, for example, flame01.autodesk.com.

In the shell.log, it shows the following error:
"Unable to get local adapters : Server not found"

The following have been performed but none have helped:

Solution:

To avoid the behaviour, update Flame to 2022.3 or later versions. The update is available in the Autodesk Accounts.

Alternatively, on Flame 2022.2, change the hostname to a shorter name.
Example: flame01.autodesk.com to flame01.
