Issue:

When dragging Layouts from Design Center into another drawing, or using the From Template option to create a new Layout, some or all of the blocks on the Layout are inserted at a different and incorrect scale. This can also happen when using the INSERT command.

Causes:

  • There is an existing block definition with the same name as the content being brought in. As a result, the newer content is not used and an instance of the existing block gets inserted, instead.
  • The drawing contains corruption.
  • UNITS might not fit to the DWGUNITS

Solution:

  • Before inserting the new content, delete any instances of the block(s) with the same name, and then run a Purge > All.
  • To repair your drawing please see the following article: How to repair corrupt AutoCAD files.
  • Set UNITS and DWGUNITS to the same unit for AutoCAD vertical products
