Issue:

Want to know if it is possible to force Post Process "File name:" into a counter when writing/ postprocessing  toolpaths in Fusion 360.
The current behaviour of Fusion is to always default newly written nc code with the name '1001.nc'. Writing  new programs will always ask if you want to replace it when writing multiple files.

Eg -  Filename  counter…
Write first toolpath .  Note - the "File name"  default is always 1001.nc
Write second toolpath and the file name then automatically defaults to 1002.nc
Write third toolpath    …. 1003.nc etc

Solution:

It is not currently possible to set a counter for renaming Program Name/Number automatically when writing out NC programs .
A new file must be entered otherwise the original 1001.nc will be overwritten.
