"Geometry Is Invalid" when editing pattern CID 30 "Mitred Offset" in CAMduct

Issue:

When editing the size of pattern CID 30 "Mitred Offset" in Fabrication CAMduct, a message appears:

Causes:

The dimensions entered cannot be created due to the constraints of the fitting. 

Solution:

To resolve the issue, do one or more of the following:

  • In the "Dimensions" tab, set "Left Extension" and "Right Extension" to "Equal" or "Value".

When mitered, there is a Length requirement to size the part properly, non-mitered parts can be shorter.
  • In the "Options" tab, set "Maximum Angle" to a larger value:
