Issue:

There are different ways to migrate Inventor files, is there a difference between those methods?

Solution:

There is no technical difference between using Task Scheduler or open/save files in Inventor to migrate files.

With Task Scheduler, extra steps can be applied to the files during the migration task. Task Scheduler can migrate many files unattended.
