CADWorx file displays in wireframe in Navisworks

Issue:

Users reported that a CADWorx file imported into Navisworks displays as wireframe or is missing elements.
Geometry modeled through CADWorx Plugin in AutoCAD is seen as wireframe in Navisworks

 
 
 

Causes:

CADWorx OE (Object Enabler) version and Navisworks version do not match.

Solution:

  • Install the version of the CADWorx OE that corresponds with the version of Navisworks. For example, CADWorx 2019 OE for Navisworks 2019

  • Install the corresponding Navisworks Export Utility for AutoCAD. For example, Navisworks Export Utility 2019 for AutoCAD 2019.
