P&ID property cannot be mapped to a Plant 3D property in AutoCAD Plant 3D

Issue:

When trying to setup the P&ID Object Mapping for some properties it is not possible to map them. They include an asterisk which notes that these properties cannot be used for PLANTPIDLINELIST.

Causes:

These are properties of data type "Numeric". Only properties of data type "String" can be used for P&ID Object Mapping.

Solution:

Use a string property instead. If it is a custom property create a new property, using data type "String".
