"The .smlx file couldn't be loaded" error appears when load SMLX in order to synchronize in Revit

Issue:

When use the button Load in Revit within the Synchronization dialog the error message appears:

"The .smlx file couldn't be loaded"

Causes:

Metal type material is not assign to the structural profiles.

Solution:

Follow these steps:
  1. Go to Object Styles.
  2. Open Material next to the specific Category.
    • ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​metal.png
  3. Choose Metal from Project Materials for a better material filter.

  4. Select one of the Material Name, as desired.
  5. Apply and close.
  6. Load the SMLX file.
