Unable to access or create Issues in BIM 360 Model Coordination and ACC

Issue:

Users reported that when viewing models in BIM 360 or ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), and the "Issues" section is selected from the side menu, the issues never appear and get stuck in a continuous load:

The "Create Issue" button is also dimmed when viewing model clashes:

Causes:

This issue can be caused by one of the following:

  • The Issue Types for Coordination are set to Inactive:
     Coordination Issue type in Model Coordination 

  • The user only has View permissions for issues.

Solution:

To resolve this issue, try one of the following:

Clear browser history and cache

Check the Coordination Issue Types and set to Active 

  1. Open the Project Admin module. 
  2. Select the "Services" tab.
  3. Click "Issues" from the menu on the left side. 
  4. From Issues, select the "Types" tab.
  5. Click the three dots to the left of "Coordination" and select "Set to Active."
  6. Click the drop-down arrow next to "Coordination" to make sure that any relevant subtypes are also set to active. Coordination Issue type in Model Coordination

Add View and Create permissions to the user 

  1. Open the Project Admin module. 
  2. Select the "Services" tab.
  3. Click "Issues" from the menu on the left side. 
  4. From Issues, select the "Permissions" tab.
  5. Add View and Create permissions to the user.

Use Object exclusions or model opt-out to reduce number of clashes

Check the number of clashes. Review the model and object included in the clash and try reducing this. Example: Use model opt-out or object exclusions.
