Cannot add a project logo image to an ACC/BIM 360 project

Issue:

Users reported that it is not possible to add a project logo image to ACC/BIM 360 project in Project Admin.

Causes:

The ability to add a project image from the project profile tab in Project Admin is not currently available.

Solution:

To add a project logo image to ACC/Bim 360 project, use the following steps.

Project logo added by a Project Admin (with access to a BIM 360 project):

  1. Open the ACC project.

  2. Copy the project ID from the URL.

  1. Open a BIM 360 project within the same account. 

  2. Go to Project Admin > Profile. 

  3. Replace the BIM 360 project ID with the ACC project ID.

  1. Reload the page with the new URL.

  2. Change the project image. The changes will reflect in ACC too after a few minutes. 

Project logo added by an Account Admin:

  1. In ACC open the Account Admin page.

  2. Click BIM 360 admin on the left side panel.

  3. Click Settings.

  4. Open the Companies tab.

  5. Select your company.

  6. Click Projects.

  7. Select the project.

  8. Open the Profile tab.

  9. Hover the mouse over the logo area and click Add Project Image to select an image for the logo.

Note: Logo for Component Library Projects cannot be modified
Note: The user needs to be an account admin for the work-around to be used, else there appears to be an error when trying to open the ACC project in BIM 360.
