Some ISO GPS / ISO 14405 symbols for 3D annotation are missing in Inventor

Issue:

When applying a 3d annotation to a model, there are dimension tolerance symbols missing compared to the list of symbols for 2d annotation.

Solution:

To add a symbol to a 3d annotation dimension follow these steps:
  1. While creating or editing a 3d annotation dimension click Edit Dimension.

  1. In the Edit Dimension dialog box click the arrow next to the Insert Symbol icon.
  2. Click Character Map.

  1. In the Character Map window select the Font AIGDT.

  1. Select the symbol in the character grid as needed.

  1. Click Select.
  2. Click Copy.
  3. Switch back to Inventor.
  4. Right-Click in the editor window > Paste.

  1. Confirm with OK.
