Issue:

How to change the default HOME location for Design Center in AutoCAD.

Home option in Design center
 

Solution:

Do the following: 
  • Set the Home button location from within ADC.
  1. In the Folders panel browse to the desired location.
  2. Right-Mouse Click.
  3. From the context menu select “Set as Home”.

  • Change the "Set as Home" path in the registry: 
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AppDataLow\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\RXX.X\CoreUser\[alpha numeric value]\AutodeskApps\AcadDC\History\DesignCenter\Last State > In string value “Set as Home”.
