Issue:

User reported that when the Dynamo script is opened in Civil 3D 2025.1 and the latest, Dynamo graphs are broken, and most of the dependent package nodes are missing or not available.

Causes:

  • Dot Net Framework incompatibility
  • Dynamo Run engine mismatch
  • Conflicts due to the latest API function updates.

Solution:

The Civil 3D update 2025.1 and the latest version are loaded with major features and improvements to Dynamo. See Dynamo for Civil 3D 2025.1 Release.

Please note that the new Dynamo uses Dynamo Core 3.2.2 and the latest versions, as well as .NET Framework 8 and the latest.

In the latest release, Dynamo graphs may be broken and dependent nodes may be unavailable because the packages are often published by external parties. The installed packages may not be compatible with the latest updates. To resolve this issue, please consider the following:

  • Check for the latest Dynamo package updates that are compatible with Civil 3D. See the Dynamo for Civil 3D 2025.1 Release.

  • Contact the package owner directly to inquire about planned updates or missing nodes.

  • Alternatively, modify the script using default nodes.
Please note that with the recent Civil 3D 2025.1 release, over 1100 nodes have been added. See the Dynamo for Civil 3D 2025.1 Release for more details.

  • Post your questions at the Dynamo forum.
