Issue:

Users reported that Revit crashes after editing elements or changing visibility settings. The following message is displayed:

Revit

An unrecoverable error has occurred. The program will now be terminated. All of your data has been recently saved, so there is no need to create recovery files.

An alternative warning may appear:

Revit

Revit has experienced a fatal error and can not continue.
You may save recovery files for your changed models.
Would you like to save recovery files?

To install updates, open the Autodesk desktop app and click My Updates. To install a new version of your Autodesk software, open the Autodesk desktop app, sign in, and click My Products. To use a web browser to install updates or a new version, sign in to Autodesk Account. (Your access to new versions or updates depends on your Autodesk software entitlements.)
