Issue:

How to join solids, bodies, or components together when constructing a model in Fusion.

Solution:

To join / combine bodies/components in Fusion

  1. Click Design > Solid > Modify > Combine combine icon.
  2. From the Combine dialog, select the Target Body.
  3. Select Tool Bodies.
Combine feature
 
  1. In the Combine dialog, set the Operation to Join. The additional options are explained here: 
  • Join combines solid bodies into a single solid body.
  • Cut removes the volume of Tool Bodies from the Target Body.
  • Intersect Keeps overlapping volumes and combines them into a single solid body.
  • Check that New Component can be used to create component from the result.
  • Check Keep Tools to keep the Tool Bodies after the solid bodies are combined.
Choose  any one of the Operations...
