"Linked document Autodesk Docs://...rvt not found. The link will be unloaded" when reloading a Bridge link in Revit

Issue:

When reloading a Bridge link in a Revit cloud model hosted on Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), the link fails to load and the following errors may be seen:

Revit

Linked document Autodesk Docs://...rvt not found. The link will be unloaded.

Linked document Autodesk Docs://...rvt not found. The link will be unloaded

Or

Revit Load Cancelled Dialog Box with journal entries as below:

3:< TaskDialog "Load cancelled"
     Jrn.Data  _
              "TaskDialogResult"  , "Load cancelled" ,  _
               "Close"  _
              , "IDCLOSE" 
    3:< Load exception "CArchiveException", code=110: Load cancelled 

Environment:

Bridge-enabled links.

Solution:

In Outgoing Hub:

  1. Open the affected Models in Audit
  2. Purge and remove unnecessary links.
  3. Sync (with Compact) back to Central.
  4. Republish the affected models to ACC.
  5. If using Design Collaboration, create a new package in ACC Design Collaboration

In Receiving Hub:

  1. Wait for the package to update in ACC.
  2. If using Design Collaboration, consume the new package in ACC Design Collaboration
  3. Open the Host Revit model.
  4. Reload the affected links again using "Reload From" through the External Resource.
  5. If using Desktop Connector to link files, be sure that the appropriate project has been selected for linking (Select Projects in Desktop Connector).
