Issue:

"Postprocessor Error - Broken connection" when post processing using a .pmoptz file in PowerMill after upgrade to windows 10.

Causes:

Corruption of the Autodesk Manufacturing Post Processor Utility

Solution:

To avoid this behavior:
  1. Repair the installation of the Autodesk Manufacturing Post Processor Utility.
Note: if issue persists, then:
  1. Clean uninstall PowerMill.
  2. Reinstall PowerMill from your Autodesk Account.
NOTE: Do not use a backup copy of the executables used before the installation of Windows 10.
