Issue:

What third party prerequisites are required for Revit 2023 to run properly?

Causes:

While these components will be automatically installed as part of the Revit installation, if they are later updated/removed Revit may become unstable or stop working.

Solution:

The following table shows the prerequisites which will normally be installed as part of the Revit installation (if the installation of one or more of these items fails during the installation, Revit may install successfully, but due to the missing prerequisite Revit may not function properly):
