Projected 3D Solids in a Civil 3D Profile View sometimes display with a grid and sometimes not

When 3D Solids are projected into a profile view, sometimes they display with a grid, and sometimes there is no grid.

The grid projection in the profile view is created if the alignment has two vertices (PI's) only.

To avoid a gridded projection in the profile view, make sure there are at least 3 PI's created for the alignment,
