Issue:

Quantity in Vault Item BOM (Bill of materials) for Inventor files doesn't work when switching from static to calculated settings.

 

Example:

  1. Value read originally from Inventor file is 1 Each:
    Original Quantity read from Inventor files and shown in Vault Item BOM 
  2. Value overridden with static value is 2 Each:
    Overridden static Quantity value shown in Vault Item BOM
  3. When switching back to calculated it stays with overridden value 2 Each:
    Quantity reverted to calculated value keeps overridden value in Vault Item BOM 

Solution:

Run Update on item to refresh the Quantity value - Revert the Quantity to the CAD Value | Vault 2026.
