Issue:

Users reported that they receive the following message when simulating a toolpath in Fusion:

Simulation Error
No post processor selected.
Simulating without a machine.
Simulation error. No post processor selected.

Message 'No post processor selected' in form Simulate with Machine

Causes:

The machine model does not have the correct post processor selected.

Solution:

To resolve this issue follow one of these solutions:

  • Choose the correct Post Processor in the Machine Model setup.
  • Remove the Machine Model from the Setup.
Note: Using a machine model may cause conflicts with the post processor. A simulation with a machine model is primarily for multi-axis machines that have a higher possibility of collision. Three axis milling rarely needs a simulation with a machine tool.
