"Some xref files linked to this host file have newer versions" when opening a DWG belonging to a Plant 3D Collaboration Project in the BIM 360 Viewer

Issue:

"Some xref files linked to this host file have newer versions" message appears when opening a DWG with Xrefs belonging to a Plant 3D Collaboration in the BIM 360 Viewer.

The solution proposed by the BIM 360 interface shows:
Open and save this host file in AutoCAD (web app) to update directly linked xref versions.

Causes:

Expected behavior on BIM 360 Docs environment when a host file opened and referenced files have a new version.
Circular reference in XREF

Solution:

Do not open the DWG in AutoCAD web or Desktop as suggested.
- Open the main host file via AutoCAD Plant 3D interface and synchronize the last version by checking it in/out.
