Update 3ds Max

Go to the Autodesk Accounts  page or the Autodesk Access  and make sure that the latest update is applied.

Reinstall 2022 as administrator

Existing profiles and Antivirus software can cause 3ds Max components to be skipped silently. The install will complete without errors, but is missing certain features.

  1. Complete a clean uninstall of 3ds Max 2022. Instructions here.
  2. Disable all antivirus software.
  3. Run the 3ds Max installer with administrator privilege.
  4. Do not run any other software during the install.
  5. Give full permissions to 3ds Max folders in Program Files\ Program Data.
