"Twinmotion is not installed" when using 'Open in Twinmotion' in Revit

Issue:

When selecting 'Open in Twinmotion' from Revit a pop-up appears that shows the following message:

Twinmotion is not installed

A supported version of Twinmotion is not installed. Please access your Autodesk Account, Products, and Services to download and try again.

TwinMotion is not installed error message in Revit

Causes:

"Twinmotion for Revit" is not installed;
An incompatible version of Twinmotion for Revit was installed.
The installation process did not complete as expected.

Solution:

"Twinmotion for Revit" product not installed

If the Twinmotion version that supports the Revit version you are using is not installed, go through the steps in the following article to install it: How to access and download Twinmotion for Revit.

Twinmotion did not install as expected.

Uninstall Twinmotion for Revit.
Disable add-ons for Revit.
Reinstall Twinmotion for Revit through your Autodesk Account.

An incompatible version is installed.

Confirm that the correct Twinmotion and the Datasmith Exporter versions are installed for the running Revit version (including the update).
If the correct version is not installed:
1. Update the Revit version, if needed.
2. Download the correct "Twinmotion for Revit" version through your Autodesk Account.
