Two walls cannot properly join in Revit

Issue:

Two walls will not join correctly in Revit. When trying to join the walls, the layers may still look like this:

Causes:

Unresolved warnings on one or more walls.

Solution:

To resolve the join condition:

  1. Unjoin walls.
  2. Resolve warnings on wall.
  3. Rejoin or trim walls together and edit to achieve the desired display.
