macOS asks for username and password when installing AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac

Issue:

You are installing AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT for Mac and during the process you are asked to enter username and password.

Causes:

When installing, macOS requires that you enter the name and password of an administrator to authorize AutoCAD/AutoCAD LT installation. For more information see this article from Apple KB: If you can't unlock settings in System Preferences . If you forgotten or need to reset you Mas OS password please refer to the article Change or reset the password of a macOS user account

Solution:

When asked, enter username and password of an administrator of your Mac.
