Fusion subscribers now have access to an online version of Fusion which can be accessed through a web browser. Answers to frequently asked questions:
Visit https://fusion.online.autodesk.com and sign into your account. Only users who are on the license types listed above can use Fusion in a browser.
Only verified education accounts are permitted to the Fusion browser access. If you are a student but do not see Fusion: education in your Autodesk profile, please complete your education verification to ensure continued access.
You now have an educational subscription to Fusion and can use browser access to Fusion by visiting https://fusion.online.autodesk.com.
Note: When you complete step 5, a download of the Fusion desktop client is automatically launched. There is no need to install the desktop client to use browser access to Fusion and you can simply close this browser window.
Yes, this service is available to all devices with a keyboard and modern browser. This excludes tablets and mobile phones such as iPads and iPhones.
Trial accounts and Personal licenses do not have browser access.
The service is available in all countries where Fusion licenses are available, however it is currently optimized for use in the U.S.
Please go back Home and start again. There are several reasons that might lead to this error, including internet connection speed or issues on the availability of servers.
When you reach fusion.online.autodesk.com, we will look if you are already signed to any Autodesk product or page and use those credentials. If you have more than one account and you happen to be using the one that's not eligible for access, sign in with the proper one (you might need to sign out of the other account you are using).
IT administrators restrict Chromebook applications and network functionality for security reasons. The following domains need to be allowed to have access:
Sessions have a maximum duration of 4 hours. There's a time out if you don't use the service for over 15 minutes. In this case, you can reconnect to your session if you have been disconnected for less than 20 minutes. If more time has passed, you will be connected to a new session.
You can have as many sessions as you need (not concurrently). Make sure you save the work before ending the session. You won't be able to close the browser's tab until you confirm you want to Leave. This is designed to prevent an accidental closing of the site.
If the system reaches capacity, you will need to wait for someone else to end a session. You should simply retry after a couple of minutes.
If you click on a link to Fusion Team from Fusion's Data Panel, it will open a new tab in your browser. You should always work on Fusion Team from your own machine.
You should open Fusion Team on your computer's browser and upload any data from there. If you're a student, ask your teacher to copy any necessary files into a Fusion Team project that's shared with the classroom.
In most cases, hidden features are based on the fact that they access local folders. Export and import have been disabled or changed to support Fusion Team as the mechanism for storing and retrieving content. Most of these limitations can be worked around by using Fusion Team for uploading and downloading content, and also for using Share Public Link.
The above workaround won't work for SVG files until some enhancements are introduced. For the time being, someone with access to Fusion installed locally should insert SVG into a document and make this document available through Fusion Team.
Export in Fusion generally looks for local folders, so you will need to do any Export from Fusion Team. Select the document you need to export from and then Fusion Team will allow you to download the required format. If you are a student and your browser has downloads disabled, you can always make sure that your teacher can see your Fusion document through Fusion Team and they can do the download.
