As of March 10, 2025, Autodesk will no longer support the License Transfer Utility (LTU) application. This change is being made to provide customers with a more secure and flexible experience with Autodesk products.
What this means for you
With this discontinuation of LTU support, you'll need to follow new procedures to:
These procedures are described below.
To transfer standalone licenses with serial numbers between devices
To activate licenses with serial numbers for the first time
If your product serial number is unregistered, you must register via the Register Now page as there is no account or email tied to the serial number.
Note: If you are an education user, you won't need a serial number as the new education workflow uses named user licenses.
