In this tutorial, you’ll learn how Dynamo can automatically identify and solve common Revit errors. You'll see how to manually fix problems with rooms in Revit and how to automate that fix using Dynamo. You'll create a room schedule with the name, area, and number data in Revit, use the schedule to fix issues caused by deleting rooms manually, and then learn how to fix those issues automatically using Dynamo nodes. Rooms are categories in Revit, so you’ll use the All Elements Of Category node in Dynamo. You'll add several nodes to isolate the area details of each room and then filter out the rooms that you deleted. After you isolate your deleted rooms in Dynamo, you can remove them easily by using a custom package. Working in Dynamo this way creates a reusable and powerful workflow for your Revit models.
