“Autodesk Identity Manager Error Report” dialog appears after signing in (Windows operating system)

Issue:

After signing into your Autodesk products on a Windows device, the dialog titled Autodesk Identity Manager Error Report is displayed.

Solution:

Repair Microsoft WebView2.

  • Go to Add / Remove programs under the Windows settings and check whether WebView2 is already installed. If WebView2 is installed, then select the modify option and repair WebView2.
  • On some operating system, the repair option is not available. If so, please try other solutions below.

Re - install Microsoft WebView2.

  • Go to Add / Remove programs under the Windows settings and check whether WebView2 is already installed. If WebView2 is installed, then uninstall it.
  • On some operating system, the uninstall option is not available. If so, please skip the next step and try other solutions below.
  • Next, download WebView2 from Microsoft. You should use the Evergreen Standalone Installer to resolve the issue.

Run Microsoft WebView2 Sample.

PC Reset.

  • In historical cases, a PC reset could resolve the issue. It is recommended to open a support ticket with Microsoft Support first before attempting a PC reset.
