Screen glitches, random pixels or display artifacts show in viewports in AutoCAD

Issue:

When viewing a drawing in AutoCAD, random pixels or other display artifacts or glitches are displayed around the drawing space. This may also display as a trail where the mouse has been moved on screen.

On another machine the same drawing will be shown without these issues.

Causes:

Missing AutoCAD updated
Wrong graphics card in use
Missing graphics card driver updates
Complex geometry in the drawing
Unsupported objects in the drawing
Incompatible DirectX version

Solution:

Do one or more of the following :

Install the latest update for AutoCAD (see Install Updates, Add-ons, and Enhancements).
Check and change so that AutoCAD runs on the best graphics card (Dedicated ex: Nvidia and not integrated ex: Intel). See: AutoCAD uses the wrong graphics card and How to configure Autodesk software to use high performance graphics.
Update the graphics driver on the system (see How to update to the latest certified video driver).
Toggle hardware acceleration (See How to enable or disable hardware acceleration in AutoCAD)
If there is only one board graphics card which is Intel, try to change the DirectX 12 to 11 version for better compatibility. See How to use a previous DirectX version in AutoCAD Products.
