Summary

Autodesk® InfraWorks has been affected by Use-After-Free and XML Entity Expansion vulnerabilities. Exploitation of these vulnerabilities could lead to remote code execution and/or denial-of-service.

Description

The details of the vulnerabilities are as follows:

  1. CVE-2015-9541: Qt through 5.14 allows an exponential XML Entity Expansion attack via a crafted SVG document that is mishandled in QXmlStreamReader.

  2. CVE-2016-2099: Use-After-Free vulnerability in validators/DTD/DTDScanner.cpp in Apache Xerces C++ 3.1.3 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to have unspecified impact via an invalid character in an XML document.
