Description

Do you want to offer customized products to your customers but save on engineering and CAM-programming time? In this class, you’ll learn how to parametrically build your product models, use Microsoft Excel and Google sheet for easy parameter input, and generate CAM toolpaths with minimal-to-no user interaction with the Inventor CAM and Fusion 360 CAM API. You’ll learn how to overcome the limitations of nesting CNC milling toolpaths on a flat sheet material to have a seamless and time-saving workflow from order to production.

  • Arjan Dijk
    Arjan has been a CAD user since his Industrial Design bachelor that he finished in 2010. Introduced in the the world of CNC Milling as ESPRIT CAM trainer and one of the first to sell and support Inventor HSM when it came out in 2014. Arjan grew with the product, trained new users and created postprocessors for more then 150 machines. As owner of CAM Consult, Arjan trained a big amount of endusers and teachers in applying Inventor HSM in their workshop and class. From the beginning of HSM, the link with CAD and iLogic made it logical to start configuring products.. The first product configuration project in 2015 reduced the programming time for a door from 1 hour to 1 minute. That last minute was won with Inventor HSM 2019 that introduced the CAM API. As an author Arjan has cowritten the first Dutch Inventor HSM student manual.
