Description
The construction industry is known to be slow to change, which can make it challenging to implement new initiatives such as diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). It is often difficult to move beyond the "why" of DEI in the construction industry, and many conversations fail to address the practical "how" of implementing DEI. How can we start a new program that actually works? What resources are available? Asking these questions is a start, but the most important part is to put them into action. This panel will contain leaders from small and large companies within the construction industry who have had a DEI program in place for more than five years. They will pull back the curtain to discuss the challenges of implementing the program and keeping it relevant in an ever-changing market, and they'll share how DEI has changed their organizations.
