Description
Transportation projects involve a diverse set of stakeholders to review and approve a project before they can move forward to construction. Given today’s technologies, those stakeholders are influenced through many different mediums—drawings, intelligent models, digital twins, and immersive environments. In this presentation, we’ll look at a transportation project from early conceptualization and preliminary design options through to the project review process. We’ll present alternatives to communicate, collaborate, and convince stakeholders throughout the process by using high-resolution 3D and AI-derived planimetric data to conceptualize the project in an immersive MR environment using the Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection. The engineered roadway and line of sight will be delivered as a driveable experience for stakeholders to review the project before it’s built.
Key Learnings
- Learn how to maximize 3D content and AI-derived analytics to build an immersive transit model.
- Learn how to apply digital tools—from reality capture to grading to modeling of infrastructure designs.
- Evaluate the variety of approaches to sharing and collaborating concepts and designs with stakeholders.
- Experience the model in an immersive environment.
