Vault has undergone a massive overhaul in the recently released Vault Professional 2015 and Vault Professional 2015 R2, especially in the areas of items and bill of materials (BOM). This class will give you an overview of some of the major item and BOM enhancements in Vault 2015 including support for long-lead item workflows and enhancements in Vault 2015 R2 including multiple BOM rows, BOM properties, BOM reports, Copy Design, and Vault Office.

    Jeff Maisano is a Sr. Principal Engineer at Autodesk, Inc., and he has been with Autodesk for 14 years, all within the Data Management group. For most of those 14 years Jeff has worked on Vault Explorer client applications, gaining a deep knowledge of Vault software. Jeff also has spent time working on the new Vault thin client, the Inventor Vault add-in, and Autodesk Streamline. He has led the implementation of many Vault Explorer features, with the item/BOM enhancements being the most recent.
  • Anil Chintamaneni
    Anil Chintamaneni is a senior user experience designer at Autodesk, Inc., where he works in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Group focusing mainly on the Vault software product line. Anil started his career at Autodesk in 2005. Since then he has worked on data managements products such as Productstream Professional software and Vault. Prior to joining Autodesk, Anil worked as a product data collaboration engineer at Ford Motor Company. Anil holds a master of science degree in mechanical engineering.
