Description
In this session, we'll explore the intricacies of drainage design workflows for transportation projects, including rail, roads, and highways. Using Autodesk's InfoDrainage and Civil 3D software, we'll present a streamlined workflow that facilitates the interaction and data exchange between both software solutions, with a special emphasis on drainage for transportation-related projects. One of the key learnings will be spotlighting the data exchange and results migration capabilities between civil design software (Civil 3D) and drainage design software (InfoDrainage), without the interjection of spreadsheets. Additionally, we'll highlight InfoDrainage software's machine learning (ML) deluge feature, with emphasis on its potential to expedite the concept and early planning process by rapidly identifying ponding locations on a site. Testing data showed the ML deluge outperforming traditional deluge by identifying ponding on a site in four seconds compared to more than nine minutes.
Key Learnings
- Learn about efficiently integrating transportation-focused drainage workflows between Civil 3D and InfoDrainage.
- Learn how to apply machine learning using InfoDrainage software's Deluge feature to rapidly identify site ponding in the early planning phase.
- Learn about analyzing and evaluating green infrastructure alternatives in InfoDrainage to meet your project's sustainability requirements.
