モデルが抱える事のできる情報量は膨大です。社会のBIMへの期待と同様に、私たちもモデルが持つ情報によって新しい世界が拓けると期待しています。 ところが、モデルが大量の情報を持てる事に拠ってモデリングの悩みが生まれます。それは「どの情報を信じて良いのか分からない。」という問題です。モデルを見ただけで信じて良い情報を知る事は不可能です。BIMはプロジェクト関係者間のコミュニケーションの有り方の再定義を求めています。 この問題を解決するのはLODであるはずです。ところがモデルとLODの間には大きな断絶があり、モデルはLODを直接的には教えてくれません。常に間に人が立つ必要があります。もしモデルが自身のLODを語ったなら、モデルの利用者がモデル内の情報の信頼性について悩むことは無くなり、担当者間での思い違いによるトラブルが減り、BIMマネージャーがプロジェクトの進捗管理に頭を抱える事は無くなるでしょう。 私たちが行おうとしている事は、LODに基づいてモデルを介したコミュニケーションを行う事です。これはモデルがLODを語るモデリング、と言い換えることもできます。このクラスでは私たちがプロジェクトでの失敗から辿り着いたLODの管理方法について紹介し、プロジェクト管理をより潤滑にする知識を共有します。 LODとモデルの良好な関係は「作るBIM」を「使うBIM」に転換します。

  • Ryuji Taniguchi
    2006年東京大学大学院工学系研究科建築学専攻修了、同年大林組入社。設計者としてキャリアをスタートし、2010年代初頭から自身の設計ツールとしてRevitを使い始める。情報が統合された建設プロセスに未来を感じてRevitのヘビーユーザとなり、2015年頃からはRevitと自作アドインプログラムを組み合わせたワークフローを実践していた。 2017年より全社BIM管理部門に籍を置き、ライブラリ管理など社内のBIM実行環境整備業務に従事する。現在は設計の対象をデジタルに移行して、開発業務を行うと共に日々勉強中。一級建築士。
