Design Thinking Workshops  

Learn the essential habits of creative thinkers, develop customer-centric design skills, and enhance your creative and problem-solving abilities. With themes including AI, Sustainability, Future of Work, Trust, and Autodesk’s Approach to Innovation, these hands-on workshops enable meaningful collaboration and networking, resulting in new ways of thinking you can take back to your workplace.

Speed Networking

Make some new friends by participating in an AU Speed Networking session to meet fellow attendees in a quick and fun format. Make connections and expand your network in a short amount of time. The goal is to meet everyone who enrolls in each session. This is our first year offering Speed Networking at AU – don't miss out on participating in this pilot program! 

 
 

Cloud Experience 

Immerse yourself in a new sensory & collaborative journey at our Cloud activity located in the Expo. In an intimate group setting, guided by a facilitator, you'll explore real-world challenges and limitless possibilities of cloud technology. Step away from the conference buzz, forge new connections, and unleash your imagination to envision how technology can revolutionize the way you design and make anything. 

 
 

AU 5K & Fun Run

Stretch your legs and get your heart pumping with an invigorating run or walk through the scenic San Diego bayfront on Tuesday morning. Join others from the AU community - all fitness levels are welcome and 5K and 2K routes will be available. Meet at the starting line at the San Diego Hilton Promenade.

 
 

Receptions

Network and connect with fellow attendees and industry experts over food and refreshments. Join a variety of receptions to kick off your AU experience, mingle and explore innovation in the Expo, honor women in tech, and celebrate the week with our closing party. Receptions are a great way to unwind after a long day of learning.

Mental Health, Neurodivergence, and Disability Communities Meetup

This meetup is designed to provide a safe, welcoming platform for attendees to connect, share experiences, and discuss the interplay between mental health, neurodivergence, and disability across various professional fields. We’ll begin with a brief presentation from members of our Autodesk MIND Network Employee Resource Group (ERG) to set the stage for our conversation which will explore the importance of understanding and addressing these topics in our workplaces. 

Fusion Manufacturing Community Meetup

Repeating the highly successful Fusion Manufacturing Community Meetup from AU 2023, this entertaining and dynamic networking session will provide a golden opportunity for Fusion customers in the manufacturing sector to connect and share best practices. Much like 2023, the session will include representatives from the Autodesk Fusion team including product development, technical sales, and customer advocacy.

AU Speed Networking: Accelerate Your Connections!

Participants will meet at the designated area in the Community Zone in the Sails Pavilion. Please be on time. Following guided prompts, you’ll sit across from someone and have a short conversation, exchange information (we recommend connecting in the AU app—quick and easy!), and then rotate to meet someone new in a series of brief exchanges. The goal is to meet as many people as possible.

Network with Women in Design and Make Technology

In this networking session for women and allies in Design and Make Technology, join community experts including Shir Rustici (Symetri) and Argelia Barcena (Gensler) along with the community team to share ideas, learn from each other, and make new connections.

Diversity in Design & Make Networking

Join community experts including Shir Rustici (Symetri) and Argelia Barcena (Gensler) to discuss how diversity is driving change in the AEC industry and share ideas, learn from each other, and make new connections.

The Big Room Community Networking​

The Big Room is Autodesk's online community for construction professionals. Join The Big Room team and community experts to chat about all things construction and find out how you can get involved.
