How NVIDIA’s New Campus Lights the Future

NVIDIA expanded their campus and created a new platform for visualization

NVIDIA built its reputation in part on GPU chips. These multifunctional tools changed what was possible with parallel processing—first for computer graphics and PC gaming, then deep learning, AI, and other tasks. As the NVIDIA team designed and built two new buildings for their growing Santa Clara campus, they found themselves looking at the structures in much the same way as one of their products: as tools that enable collaboration, interconnection, and development. In their case, that included the development and release of Omniverse, their new simulation, visualization, and collaboration platform for 3D production pipelines. Jack Dahlgren, technical marketing AEC lead for NVIDIA, shares the goals, challenges, and lessons learned.
