After completing this course, you’ll be able to:

  • Understand the business and economic drivers sparking change towards Industry 4.0.
  • Describe how businesses, teams, and operations are changing.
  • Describe the effect of Industry 4.0 on both creation and displacement of jobs.
  • List key challenges business will face in implementing Industry 4.0 and how to overcome them.
  • Summarize case studies and real-world examples of businesses using Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies.
  • Understand the impact Industry 4.0 has on social, legal, and economic policies.

ASME and Autodesk have partnered to develop this course to promote Industry 4.0 skills in design and manufacturing. This is the third course in a series of self-paced courses to equip students with the knowledge and abilities needed to thrive in the industry 4.0 era of the manufacturing industry.
