and ready to download using the package manager inside Dynamo

In this session, we will discuss the different ways

to search for packages, and read more information as

to what the package contains.

We are now at the first step in the workflow,

searching the online package repository.

Let's switch over to Dynamo and get started.

Inside Seville 3D, under the manage tab, visual programming

panel, will click to open the Dynamo interface.

Packages are accessible from the Dynamo startup screen

by clicking the packages menu at the top.

It is not necessary to be in the dynamo workspace

to access this menu.

Under packages, click Search for a package.

In the online package search dialog box,

you have the option to start typing in a keyword.

We also have the option to sort by name, downloads, number

of votes or author, or apply a filter to only display

Not all developers will add a filter to their package.

For better search results, we'll turn the filter off.

Since the Dynamo community grows rapidly, let's

There are a number of packages pertaining to civil 3D,

so let's take a closer look at one, the civil 3D toolkit.

We see the author name, version number, number of downloads,

and the date of the last update.

We also have the option to vote for this package.

Once you have experience working with the packages,

make sure to come back and vote as this

will let others in the community know of useful packages.

By clicking the package name, we see the version history

along with the option to install individual versions.

This is not the only way to install this package,
