If you need to make an edit in Civil 3D,

you can use the Save Back command to push the changes you made in your Civil 3D model to ArcGIS Online.

For this exercise, in the model, click and drag a manhole structure to move it.

Next, from the ribbon, Insert tab, ArcGIS panel, click Data Source Manager to access and manage your connections to ArcGIS data.

When the Data Source Manager dialog appears, only select the data source or sources you want to Save Back.

In this case, expand the ArcGIS Data Source node, then click the Pipe and Structure checkboxes to enable them.

Now, click Save Back.

When prompted, choose Continue from the Save Back confirmation dialog box.

Back in the Data Source Manager, click Close.

Back in ArcGIS Online, check to make sure your edits saved correctly.
