You can use Civil 3D pipe network features to draw 2D and 3D models of utility systems, such as storm or sanitary sewers.

These sewers, known as gravity pipe systems, can be created in Civil 3D using existing objects in your drawing.

This method automatically creates a pipe network from entities such as lines, arcs, 2D and 3D polylines, feature lines, or alignments.

From the Home tab, in the Create Design panel, click Pipe Network, and then select Create Pipe Network from Object.

In the drawing area, select a Feature Line, 3D polyline, line, or x-ref.

In this example, select the Feature Line on the C-STRM layer.

Verify that the displayed flow direction is appropriate (left to right), select Reverse from the command line if needed,
