Insight provides a helpful set of predefined metrics for use on your analysis dashboard,

but you may want to create custom metrics that are tailored to your specific needs.

Data from Factors, Model Data, Analysis Results and Metrics

In this example, custom factors have already been defined: PV-Array Coverage, PV-Array Output, and System Efficiency.

To create a custom metric, from the navigation bar, select Manage Metrics.

In the Manage Metrics dialog, under Get Started, you see a list of default metrics, and below that, any custom metrics.
