You can import named page setups from any other drawing
00:08
to do this. Open the page set up manager, dialogue and click import
00:13
to open a file dialogue,
00:17
navigate to the folder where you save the exercise files, select print
00:25
and click open
00:27
in the import page setups, dialogue
00:30
in the page setups group box,
00:33
you see the named page setups that were saved as part of that drawing file.
00:38
In this case, there is only one page setup, select it and then click, OK.
00:45
Since you are about to import a page set up with the same name as the page setup,
00:50
you just created,
00:51
you see an alert asking if you want to redefine
00:55
the A size PDF page setup that already exists.
00:59
In this case, since they both use the same settings,
01:03
you can click. Yes.
01:05
But if this was not what you had intended,
01:08
you could click no or cancel the entire process at this point.
01:13
Since that same a size PDF page setup was referenced by multiple layouts.
01:19
The program asks if you want to update
01:21
all of the layouts that reference that page setup
01:25
again. For this exercise, you can click Yes.
01:29
But if you did not want the imported page set up to be applied to the other layouts,
01:33
you could click.
01:34
No,
01:36
when you are done,
01:37
close the page set up manager.
