We're now going to add some offset alignments to our design.

Center line alignments.

Offset alignments are generally used to create geometry

for road channel lines or adding road lanes.

The advantage of using offset alignments is

that they remain linked to the centerline alignment

and can be edited to include changes in offset with transitions.

We don't have to convert poly lines or worry

about what happens if the main alignment is moved.

Click on the conister boulevard and on the ribbon, choose offset alignment,

offset alignments are linked to their parent alignment.

They'll have an automatic name which you can override if you wish
