Setting finger controls to follow the arm

Constrain the finger controls to follow the position of the main skinned hand joint.

00:03

What we need now is for the controls to follow the arm as it moves at

00:08

the moment, they just float in space.

00:10

We also need them to blend between I

00:13

and FK two.

00:14

But with this set up,

00:15

we don't need to worry about connecting to the IKFK switch attribute.

00:20

Let's clean the control group first.

00:23

Now select the handle

00:25

joint

00:26

and then the handle

00:27

control group

00:29

and go to constrain parent.

00:33

So now the fingers will follow wherever the hand control goes or rotates to.

00:40

And if we blend to FK,

00:42

it moves with the arm,

00:44

this is because it's simply following the position of the main skinned hand joint

00:49

rather than having to blend between an IK and an FK arm.
