Realtime rigging – Skin weight painting

When you have finished creating the skeleton for your model and skinning it, one of the first steps in making the model appear to move naturally is adjusting the skin weights. This process begins with painting and mirroring skin weights to apply them. Then, you can edit them in several ways, including softening the weight influence, modifying twist, pruning small weights, and more.
